St. Mary’s Church MINIBUS
Tysoe parish church has just acquired a 17-seater minibus. The bus is in memory of Vicky Hopkins and reflects her concern for village teenagers and the lack of accessible transport in this remote rural location. The collection from her funeral launched the appeal. Our thanks are also due to Bill and Debbie Joss, Upton Estate Farm, and the St. Mary’s Church Minibus account for generous additional support. Incidentally the name ‘Maggie May’ on the front of the bus comes from the Rod Stewart song, Vicky’s favourite.
The minibus will be used by the school, other organizations in the valley and other churches in the Shipston and Kineton areas.
